New Delhi: The number of senior leaders in the Congress party voicing their opposition to supremacy is increasing day by day. Manish Tiwari's latest tweet misrepresenting the attitude of the High Command has caused a stir in the party. He tweeted that the central leadership policies were to blame for the crisis in the Uttarakhand Congress party. "First Assam, then Punjab, now Uttarakhand ..." he wrote on Twitter. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat has expressed his displeasure over his own party leaders.

Rawat media adviser Surendra responded to the tweets. "Some forces are staying in the Congress and working for the BJP, undermining the chances of the Congress winning," he said. AICC Uttarakhand in-charge Devendra Yadav is being held to account for going to the polls under a joint leadership instead of Rawat. However, Harish Rawat declined to comment on his tweet. He told reporters he would speak when the time came.
